📊 Universal Scoring System

These points apply to all 5 events in the DIS Summer Series. Event-specific bonuses (like laps or objective captures) will be added to this base score.  Each event will have its own bonus points that will be listed on this website in each Events page located under the "DIS Summer Event Series" main page.

⚔️ Combat & Takedowns

The series will use a weighted scale in an attempt to balance things out for combat.

  • Small Target Kill: 2 Points (Cyclones, Snub fighters, Light fighters).

  • Medium Target Kill: 5 Points (Cutlass, Freelancer, Spirit).

  • Large/Sub-Cap Kill: 10 Points (Constellation, Corsair, Retaliator).
    Capital Kill: 15 points

  • FPS Confirmed Kill: 2 Points (Be it planet side, through boarding or Zero-G).

Multicrew Note: Kill points are split evenly among the active crew to ensure fair leaderboard climbing.

💉 Support & Logistics

Combat isn't just about pulling the trigger. We reward the players who keep the fleet moving.

  • Medical Revive: 5 Points (Full revival from an incapacitated state).

  • Field Treatment: 2 Points (Healing a teammate or repairing a critical component).

  • Rearm/Resupply: 5 Points (Supplying team members mid-event, meaning you specifically depart the battlefield to go get supplies and deliver them back to the combat zone).

🤝 Sportsmanship & Reliability

The "Secret Sauce" to a smooth event series.

  • "Ready on Time" Bonus: 3 Points. Awarded to everyone at the starting location and ready to pull 10 minutes before the whistle.

  • Opposing Team MVP: 10 Points. At the end of each event, nominate one player from a rival team for their skill or sportsmanship.

🏆 How Points are Tracked

During the first event, I will track all points at the end of each heat.  Confirming kills at the end of each heat before we start the next heat.  This is simple given these are relatively short races.  After Event 1, this is where your designated and voted on team leaders will step up.

In a chaotic environment like Star Citizen, trying to live-track kills for dozens of people would be a nightmare. To make the Honor System work without it turning into a "he-said, she-said" mess, each team captain will be required, at the end of a heat/round or the objective completion to provide their teams "Squad Report".

  • At the end of the heat/round/event, the Team Captain submits a "Squad Report" (e.g., "Team 1: 12 Kills, 3 Revives, etc").  That report will show who got what kill(s) and what type of kill it was (FPS, Light/Medium/Heavy ship kill and so on).

  • Peer Review: Each Squad Report is immediately made public in discord where it will go into a quick live review for everyone to hear.  If a teams reported kill/death count does not line up and a dispute is made.  Disputes will be handled quickly and respectfully through the event staff and team leads.
