🛠️ HOW IT WORKS
This series is built for Teams, but points are tracked Per Player. Whether you are a dedicated pilot, a turret gunner, a medic, or a cargo hauler, there are multiple ways to earn your spot on the leaderboard.
-
Versatility Wins: The event series has a spread of everything. From high-speed racing to tactical FPS, medic options, cargo moving, plenty of air/space/ground combat and fleet coordination.
-
Fair Scoring: Points are awarded for kills, objective completion, revives, and more.
-
Locked Stakes: The final prize pool and donation window will lock in mid-May prior to Event 1 kicking off.
🎖️ Call for Team Leaders: Role & Expectations
The success of each operation depends on clear communication and decisive action. We are looking for volunteers to step up as Team Leaders (TLs) for the duration of the Summer Series.
Before volunteering, please ensure you are comfortable with the following responsibilities:
📱 Personnel Management
-
Coordination: You are the primary point of contact for your squad. You’ll be responsible for ensuring your teammates know the "When and Where" for every event.
-
Readiness: You will ensure through weekly comms as needed with your team, that the team has the required ships, vehicles, and gear ready prior to the event starting. I recommend team leaders use discord group chats to keep in touch with the team.
-
Score Reporting: You will be responsible for submitting your team’s "Squad Report" (Kills, Revives, Objectives) at the end of each round (Event 2) or the end of the event (Events 3 through 5).
⚔️ Tactical Command
-
Decision Making: In the heat of battle—whether in the dust of Daymar or the vacuum of space—you are the ultimate authority for your team. You should listen to and heed your teams advice as you see fit, but ultimately, they voted for you, and you will need to decide strategy, formations, engagement rules, as needed when the team as a whole cannot decide how to proceed.
-
Dispute Resolution: If a tactical or rules-based conflict arises within the team, you are expected to handle it. If you need assistance handling it, you can reach out to the event staff at any time.
-
The "No-Wait" Enforcer: You are responsible for making sure your team is synced and ready to go. If a team member is missing, you make the call to sub them out/handle whatever role they were going to perform.
🤝 Leadership Integrity
As the representative of your squad, you set the tone for sportsmanship. Team Leaders are expected to lead by example, maintaining a competitive but respectful environment and upholding the Honor System for scoring. Interested in leading a squad? Reach out to thebigdill890 on Discord to submit your name for consideration. Team leaders will be voted and decided on at the end of the first event by everyone that is present. Once team leaders are designated, they will remain the team leader for the duration of the series unless they or their team request a reassignment. Teams can also be autonomous if they wish. If a team wishes to have a different team lead each event, or break themselves into a fleet mindset where the team leader becomes the "Fleet Admiral" and others take up "Wing Commander" positions, that is entirely up to the team.
HOW TEAMS ARE BROKEN OUT
44 or less players sign up = 2 teams up to 22 players per team.
45-59 players sign up = 3 teams of 15-20 players per team.
60-79 players sign up = 4 teams of 15-20 players per team.
80-99 players sign up = 4 teams of 20-25 players per team.
Full 100 player sign up = 4 teams of 25 players per team.
