DIS Summer Series: Event 1

The Daymar Sand-Sprint

Location: Daymar, The Garden

🏎️ EVENT 1: QUICK SUMMARY

A three-heat Cyclone combat competition to kick off the series.

• Heat 1: The Combat Oval (High-speed sprint)

• Heat 2: The Destruction-8 (figure 8 track

• Heat 3: Cross-Country Calamity (20km endurance dash)

• Heat 4 (optional): Grudge Racing by volunteers.  Bet for a grudge race with points you earned during the competition.  Both parties must agree to the race and points or the race does not happen.

Authorized Gear:

• Vehicles: Cyclones ONLY (MT, Base, RC, or TR, nothing else).

• Loadout: Base model allows "Truck Bed Gunners" (Any FPS weapon except Animus). No restrictions on TR/MT turrets.  RC for the speed demons.

Unique Points earned for this event:

• Per heat finish: 1st (15pts) | 2nd (10pts) | 3rd (5pts)

• Combat: 2pts per Confirmed Kill | 2pts per Lap Completed.

• MVP: 10pts (Voted by opposing teams at the end of the 3 main heats).

Team breakout:

• Teams do not apply for this particular event.  Your Cyclone IS your team.  Fill it with whoever you want ahead of time, be it ORG mates, allies, friends, a hobo from Hurston or just go it lone wolf style!

• Once Heat 3 is done, all players will have had a chance to mingle and hopefully get to know each other at least a little.  From this point, everyone present will be given the option to vote for event team leaders for event 2.  (depending on how many people are preset, will determine how many teams we will have/how many team leaders get voted for.  The people who receive the most votes will become your team leads for Event 2.
